Nation sends oxygen machines to India

The nation is to ship 150 oxygen machines to India this weekend, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said yesterday, while confirming that talks are underway to conduct clinical trials of a domestically developed COVID-19 vaccine in Paraguay.

World leaders call for Taiwan at WHA


The US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs expresses its support for Taiwan’s participation in the upcoming World Health Assembly meeting in a post on Twitter yesterday.

President Ma Ying-jeou has filed an appeal at the Taipei District Court after prosecutors decided not to indict Hou Kuan-jen, a prosecutor on the Special Investigation Panel (SIP) of the Supreme Prosecutors Office, for forgery. Taipei District Court spokesperson Huang Chun-ming said yesterday the court received a letter of committal for trial in March from Ma’s attorney, but the court has yet to announce its ruling.
